<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a gas-liquid contacting device which excels in wear and impact resistances and is provided with a lightweight and inexpensive spray nozzle and excels in reliability and profitability by forming a liquid inlet part of a spray nozzle into a bell shape having a specified radius of curvature. CONSTITUTION: Plural spray nozzles 20 in the form of a cylinder are directly attached to and erected on the upper surface of a header pipe 10 in a column body. A liquid inlet part 21 on the base end side is formed into a bell shape having a radius of curvature >=0.2 times a liquid discharge bore 'd'. Thus the turbulence of an absorbent slurry solution S in the liquid inflow port and the discharge port of the spray nozzle 20 is prevented, and wear due to bubble occurrence or cavitation is restrained irrespective of material of the spray nozzle 20. Therefore, even when material such as FRP which is inexpensive and lightweight is used, wear resistance is secured and profitability and reliability of a gas-liquid contacting device, and besides, a desulfurizer are improved.</p> |
