PURPOSE: To obtain the subject new compound excellent in the reactivity of the double bonds and in the physical properties of coating films and rubbers, etc., and useful for the crosslinking reactions of coatings, photocurable resins and adhesives or as a silane coupling agent, an acrylic rubber crosslinking agent, etc. CONSTITUTION: This new compound is an alkenyl-containing (meth)acrylate of formula [R<1> is H, methyl; at least either one of Ra , Rb , Rc is substituent of formula II (R<2> , R<3> , R<6> , R<7> , R<10> are independently H, 1-10C alkyl; R<4> , R<5> , R<8> , R<9> are independently H, 1-5C alkyl; k, m are integer of 0-10; l is integer of 0-2; n is integer of 1-2), and the remaining groups are H], for example 3- methyl-butenyl methacrylate. The compound of formula I is obtained by subjecting (meth)acrylic acid or its ester and an alcohol of formula III to a dehydrative condensation reaction or an ester exchange reaction. |
