Invention is applied to pigment engineering, and for the production of red ferrous oxide pigment from industrial ferrous compounds waste in particular. In order to get the ferrous oxide pigment free of chromite alloys, a mix of ferrous oxides is prepared. It is acidified up to 4-4,5 pH before burning and the ready made mixture burnt for 0,5-1 hour at the temperature of 1,000-1,050 degrees Celsius, and then pulverised. |
