<p>PURPOSE: To highly accurately detect a minute electric break-route of an opaque resin or rubber molded object by filling heavy metallic salt in the electric breakdown route and passing radioactive rays. CONSTITUTION: Heavy metallic salt capable of shielding radioactive rays or its aqueous solution (e.g. mixed solution of water and nitrate or uranyl acetate and poval) is introduced into an electric break-route generated inside an opaque object molded of resin or rubber. At this time, the pressure of the solution is reduced. X rays are cast to the solution and a transmission image is photographed. When the aqueous solution of metallic salt is introduced, the radioactive transmissivity of the resin or rubber is reversed to that of the breakdown route, whereby the minute electric breakdown route can be detected highly accurately. Moreover, since the heavy metallic salt is introduced in the break route in the state of an aqueous solution while the pressure is reduced, the aqueous solution can be filled to a front end part of the tapered breakdown route, so that the whole breakdown route can be effectively detected.</p> |
