<p>PURPOSE: To improve purifying action of waste gas and to keep waste gas treating capacity of washing liquid in excellent condition in a scrubber. CONSTITUTION: A scrubber 2 for spraying washing liquid to waste gas to chemically purify it is provided with a jetting means 4 for jetting washing liquid and a storage tank 6 for storing the jetted washing liquid. The jetting means 4 jets washing liquid at high pressure, and directly jets washing liquid onto the surface in the storage tank 6 to generate bubbles 28 in the washing liquid. In this way, contact area between the washing liquid and waste gas is enlarged to accelerate chemical reaction, and also the waste gas and the washing liquid cause chemical reaction in the washing liquid in the storage tank 6.</p> |
