摘要 |
PURPOSE: To obtain a radiation imaging system comprising a photosensor array for CT where the linearity is improved while reducing noise and crosstalk. CONSTITUTION: The radiation imaging system comprises a scintillator 110, and a photosensor array 120 coupled optically with the scintillator through a photocoupling layer 170. The photosensor array 120 comprises a plurality of photosensitive elements 124 arranged in an array block 130 to receive a light entering from the scintillator through the first surface 131 of array block. Each photosensitive element forms a pixel 125 within the array and each pixel has a perfect photoactive region having quantum efficiency higher than about 65%. The photocoupling layer is provided with a pixel boundary light barrier 180 composed of a light absorbing material and the barrier is disposed in the region on the first surface of photosensor array located between the perfect photoactive regions of adjacent photosensitive elements. |
