PURPOSE: To obtain a coating applicator body having excellent sequeezability by blow molding a resin mixture which contains a specific quantity of resin made of nylon 6 and polyolefin and a specific quantity of copolymer nylon 6-66. CONSTITUTION: A resin mixture which contains 70 to 80wt.% of resin mixed with 35 to 60wt.% of nylon 6 and 65 to 40wt.% of polyolefin as total 100wt.% and 30 to 20wt.% of copolymer nylon 6-66 as total 100wt.% is injection blow- molded to mold a coating applicator body. The conditions of molding a parison at the time of the injection blow molding are cylinder and manifold temperature of about 220 to 250 deg.C, and a mold temperature of about 90 to 150 deg.C. The specific resin mixture is blow molded so that the thickness of the body is uniform with excellent moldability and the squeezability is excellent. As the mold, a normal hot-runner mold is used. |
