PURPOSE: To provide a treatment method for an absorber and absorbent material capable of suppressing the dislodgment of fiber pieces, etc., and the disturbance in the form at the time of liquid material absorption without decreasing an absorption capacity. CONSTITUTION: This absorber 3 is composed of the absorbent material 1 which absorbs a liquid material consisting essentially of water. The absorbent material 1 is formed of at least either of a hydrophilic fibrous molding or hydrophilic porous resin molding to a prescribed shape and is coated or impregnated with a resin restraigng the disturbance in the form of the absorbent material 1 on at least the side in contact with a liquid material in the state of having a conductive part of the liquid material, by which a resin coated part 2 is formed. A hydrophilic polymer which is substantially insoluble in the water and has bioaffinity is usable as the resin. The spacing of this hydrophilic polymer itself and/or the polymer spacing forms the conducting part of the liquid material. |
