<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the mixing of colors and to satisfy heat resistance, resolution, ink-jet adaptability and to produce a color filter at a low cost by using a resist for the formation of a black matrix having ink repellent property as partitioning walls among pixels. CONSTITUTION: A resist to form a black matrix having improved ink repelling property by addition of a photosensitive silicone compd. is applied to a metal film 1 on a glass substrate 2 by spin coating method or the like. The resist layer 3 is preferably formed to >=1μm thickness. Then the resist layer is exposed through a photomask 4 and developed, and the metal is etched to obtain a black matrix 5 with the resist pattern 6 remaining. Then, R, G, B color layers are formed with coating material-type inks by using ink jet heads 7 and then dried. If necessary, a protective layer 8 comprising a photosetting material or the like is formed. Thus, the mixing of colors can be prevented when coloring agents are deposited by ejection of inks using an ink jet recording device.</p> |
