<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate the fixing and removing work of a stop cock even in a limited place while effectively preventing removal of the stop cock due to the water pressure. CONSTITUTION: The stop cock body 11 comprises a plate 14 abutting against the end part 12b of an open pipe line port 12, a compression plate 17 coupled with a compression lever 15 through a coupling rod 16 such that it can approach the abutting plate 14 or separate therefrom, and a stop rubber packing 18 being held between the abutting plate 14 and the compression plate 17. Annular protrusions 25a, 25b being fitted to the inner wall face 18a at the end part of the rubber packing 18 while holding the end part thereof are formed integrally on the side faces 14a, 17a facing the abutting plate 14 and the compression plate 17 respectively.</p> |
