<p>PURPOSE: To make a driver inform those around the vicinity of this sudden deceleration whenever he/she has decelerated his/her car by operation of a brake pedal at the time of automatic braking actuation through gentle braking. CONSTITUTION: Various inputting apparatuses necessary to judge of whether automatic control over a brake by means of a brake mechanism 10 should be executed or not as well as whether it is necessary to flash a stop lamp 18 and hazard lamps 12 and 16 with a specified mode or not, are connected to a car light controller 200. In the case where detection pressure by means of a brake pedal hydraulic sensor 238 is so judged that it is not larger than that by means of an automatic braking hydraulic sensor 236, the hazard lamps 12, 16 and the stop lamp 18 are made to flash alternately. Differently, when the detection pressure by means of the sensor 238 is larger than that by means of the sensor 236, and a car is not yet stopped, the stop lamp 18 alone is lighted.</p> |
