<p>PURPOSE: To improve reliability by preventing the damage of the joint part of an intermediate connecting body after insert-molding a connector for a lead wire and a flat cable used for a contactless electric signal transmission device. CONSTITUTION: After connecting the respective cores 1a of a flat cable 1 to the respective cores 2a of a lead wire 2 by an intermediate connecting body 10, the intermediate connecting body 10 is insert-molded in resin to form a connector for the flat cable and the lead wire. In such a connector, one end of the intermediate connecting body 10 is provided with a fitting part 12 for fitting the cores 1a of the flat cable 1, while the other end is provided with a lead wire receiving part 14 for receiving the coating parts 2b and cores 2a of the lead wire 2, and the opposed fitting part 12 and receiving part 14 are communicated with each other by a conductor 18 that can connect the cores 1a, 2a of the flat cable 1 and lead wire 2. The partition wall 15 of the body 11 of the intermediate connecting body 10 is provided with a through hole 19 serving as a filling accelerating means for dispersing to accelerate the filling of resin at the time of insert-molding the intermediate connecting body 10. As a result, the injection pressure of resin at the time of insert-molding can be reduced, and the reliability of an electric signal transmission device is improved.</p> |
