CODE CONVERSION METHOD AND CODE CONVERTER

摘要

PURPOSE: To attain a code conversion method and a code converter capable of improving conversion speed by collectively converting plural bits of a radix to be converted into respective codes and mutually adding the codes. CONSTITUTION: A code generator 1 enters inputs in (0) to in (5) through an input register 10 and generates a code code1 consisting of eight bits obtained by entering the values of the inputs in (1), in (2) to the lower 2nd and 3rd bits in a step 1 based upon an output from a counter 11. Then the generator 1 generates a code code2 consisting of eight bits obtained by entering the value of the input in (4) to the lower 2nd, 3rd and 5th bits and entering the value of the input in (3) in the lower 4th bit. Then the generator 1 generates a code code3 consisting of eight bits obtained by entering the value of the input in (0) to the lower 1st bit and entering the value of the input in (4) to the lower 2nd, 5th and 6th bits. These generated codes are mutually added to obtain finally converted data.
