PURPOSE: To provide a book and television holder for a hospital bed capable of reading a book or watching a television in a comfortable posture in the bed of a hospital by an inpatient and capable of being put together compactly when it is not needed. CONSTITUTION: This holder is constituted of a box-like lower box 3 provided with an assembly mechanism 6 to freely assembled to the accessory table 8 of the hospital bed 7, a freely rotatable holding mechanism 4 or holding member executed on the lower box 3 for holding the book or the television 11 and an upper box 5 which is the cover of the lower box 3. Then, the lower box 3 is turned to a size capable of housing the assembly mechanism 6 and the holding mechanism 4 or the holding member, the book is read or the television is watched in the comfortable posture from the front by rotating the holding mechanism 4 or the holding member and the holding mechanism 4 or the like are housed in the lower box and closed with the upper box when it is not needed. |
