PURPOSE: To provide a central management type 'KARAOKE' singing equipment constituted to eliminate the need for a hardware change of slave equipment at the time of changing ancillary equipments. CONSTITUTION: This central management type 'KARAOKE' singing equipment stores programs for controlling the ancillary equipments on a hard disk 14 installed in its central control unit L. A microcomputer 13 down loads the programs for controlling the ancillary equipments meeting each set equipment kind into RAMs of 'KARAOKE' singing terminal units C when the kinds of equipments meeting the kinds of the ancillary equipments are set by a DIP switch. To change the setting of a DIP switch is, therefore, merely necessitated when a video reproducing device using a CD-ROM is connected to a unit connected with a video reproducing device using, for example, a laser disk. The need for the change of the hardware, such as exchange of the 'KARAOKE' singing terminal units C or modification of a part thereof is eliminated. |
