PURPOSE: To obtain a sound signal receiver for receiving a sound signal having sound pressure level over a wide dynamic range while measuring the absolute level by varying the gain of a non-directional submersible sensor in a passive sensor without imposing any burden on the operator. CONSTITUTION: An AGC circuit 1-3 controls the gain of a signal detected by a receiver 1-1 automatically. A land station 3 is provided with a submersible sensor 1 for transmitting the output from the AGC circuit 1-3 and an AGC gain control voltage in the AGC circuit to the land station 3, and a reverse circuit 3-4 for taking out a signal, not subjected to AGC, from these two signals. |
