ASSEMBLING METHOD OF PLASTIC POWER CABLE JOINT

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a method for assembling the prefabicated joint of a plastic power cable exhibiting stabilized insulation performance by producing a great pressure on the interface between a cable insulator and a premolded insulator and expelling voids from the interface thereby enhancing the affinity to the interface. CONSTITUTION: A premolded insulator 4 is fitted over a cable insulator 2 up to a predetermined position thereof and then the cable conductor 1 is heated by means of an induction heating coil 10 until the interface between the premolded insulator 4 and the cable insulator 2 is heated up to 50-100 deg.C.
