<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an assorting container which is convenient to use for recovering, assorting, containing, tying and carrying old newspapers, etc., by a method wherein the assorting container is cubic, at least its opposite side panels are made of transparent plastic and tie strings can be attached to the container. CONSTITUTION: An assorting container A is an open-top cubic container (a) that is formed by sewing or fusion-bonding a plastic sheet and at least a pair of opposite side panels is transparent and rigid. Handles 5 are attached to an upper opening 3 and small holes 7 are provided along two or four opposite sides of the four-sided figure of the opening 3. A small hole 8 is occasionally provided in the middle of a bottom panel 1. Two tie strings (b) are tied together in the middle and the knot is pushed inside the small hole 8 in the bottom panel 1. Ends 10 of the tie strings (b) are inserted into the small holes 7 from inside toward outside. When old newspapers, etc., are gathered up to a height suitable for tying, the ends 10 of the tie strings (b) are pulled out from the small holes 7 and the old newspapers are tied crosswise with the tie strings (b).</p> |
