PURPOSE: To provide a semiactive control damper system which is suitably used for a rolling stock, a building, etc., in which vibration damping side mass is extremely large. CONSTITUTION: A control damper 3 comprises a one-way flow stroke sensing cylinder 6 interposed between a vibration generating side and a vibration damping side, and a damping force control circuit 8 equipped with a proportional valve 25, a unload valve 26 and a switching valve 27. Meanwhile, vibration conditions on the vibration generating side and the vibration damping side, are judged by a computer 28 by the use of damper speed signals V1, V2 detected by the stroke sensing cylinder 6 and vibration damping side speed signals U1, U2 detected by a detector. The proportional valve 25, the unload valve 26 and the switching valve 27 are actuated on the basis of command signals X, Y, Z outputted from the computer 28, so that generating damping force in the damping force control circuit 8 is controlled, thus vibration damping side lateral vibration can be efficiently suppressed. |
