PURPOSE: To provide a cooking device in which a light inside a chamber can be manually turned on and off and the brightness of the light can be also changed by a manual operation. CONSTITUTION: A cooking device has : a heating chamber 1 in which food is heated and cooked; a door 13 having a window for monitoring, which is provided so that a cooking plate 17 is put in/out from the heating chamber 1; lights 14a and 14b in the chamber, which illuminate the food on the cooking plate 17; and a switch 18 for switching automatic and manual modes of turning on/off the lights 14a and 14b. Each time when the switch 18 is depressed, the mode is switched as automatic→manual→automatic. When the switch 18 is turned, the lights in the chamber are turned on and off. When the switch 18 is further turned, the brightness of the chamber lights can be adjusted. |
