PURPOSE: To obtain a process for producing hollow polymer particles easily in a short time and a process for producing hollow polymer particles having a high Tg. CONSTITUTION: Hollow polymer particles are produced by adding 0.1-1,000 pts.wt. solvent to 100 pts.wt. (solid base) carboxylated copolymer latex, then adding a base to the latex to neutralize at least a part of the carboxyl groups, adding an acid to it to reduce the pH to 7 or lower, and removing water from it. |
