PURPOSE: To provide an image processor or the like that provides an output of image data received synchronously and image data obtained by decoding JPEG data received in an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) at a prescribed speed in synchronism with each other. CONSTITUTION: An external I/F 231 receives RGB data synchronously. On the other hand, a JPEG-I/F 241 inputs JPEG data in an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM), the inputted JPEG data are stored once in a page memory 242 and then read out of the page memory 242 in synchronism with an image forming timing and decoded in a JPEG expansion section 243. A bus selector 232 selects image data outputted from the external I/F 231 or the JPEG expansion section 243 and sends the selected data to an image processing section. |
