PURPOSE: To provide an electrically illuminated cable which is used mainly for stressed display of articles by multicolor light, advertisement display towers, Christmas trees, etc., is lightweight and compact and has excellent operability and curvability. CONSTITUTION: A supporting wire 9 is symmetrically enveloped in superposition by one sheet of insulating film 2 having a prescribed width and the superposed inner parts of the insulating film 2 are adhered. Two pieces of conductors 4, 4' are adhered on the superposed outer parts of the insulating film 2 in parallel with the longitudinal direction. Light emitting parts 5 of light emitting diodes consisting of plural pieces are arranged at prescribed intervals on the supporting wire 9. Anodes 6 and cathodes 7 which are the legs of the light emitting diodes are connected to two sheets of the conductors 4, 4' across the insulating film with the supporting wire. The parts exclusive of the light emitting parts 5 of the light emitting diodes are coated with an insulating resin 10. |
