PURPOSE: To provide a battery charger which can surely install a pack battery with a simple structure, is compactly foldable and portable and can surely hold the pack battery in the state never slipped from a charging position to charge it. CONSTITUTION: In this battery charger, an electric equipment is installed to a case 7 to charge its built-in pack battery 1, and the pack battery 1 taken out from the electric equipment is installed thereto to charge it. The case 7 has a case body 7A provided with a power source circuit, and an installing lid 7B connected to the case body 7A in such a manner as to be openable and closable. The installing lid 7B has a locking part attachably and detachably installed to the electric equipment in the state opened from the case body 7A. The installing lid 7B has a housing recessed part for inserting the pack battery 1 taken out from the electric equipment to charge it. The pack battery 1 is installed to the housing recessed part 9, and the pack battery 1 is charged in the state where the installing lid 7B is closed. |
