PURPOSE: To obtain natural music which includes tonesion sound and is rich in color with a small amount of data by including the identifer of tension sound in music source data and decoding its pitch by a code function. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 102 controls respective device parts by executing a program put on a program memory 104. An accompaniment header memory 110 is stored with header information for accompaniment patterns of respective parts by accompaniments styles. The header information contains the information showing which scale sound data base on an SDB memory 106 is used, the information showing which code constituent sound table on a KMAP memory 108 is used, the information for instructing accompaniment soure data to be used on an accompaniment source data memory 112, etc. The accompaniment source data memory 112 stores the accompaniment source data. The accompaniment source data includes the identifier of the tension sound and converts the identifier of each tension sound, included in the accompaniment source data, into a pitch according to a specified code function. |
