PURPOSE: To provide a power system stabilizer which converges power fluctuation more rapidly and which shows a sufficient stabilization effect on a plurality of power fluctuations even if a power system exhibits a strong non-linearlity due to a shift of a stable equilibrium point. CONSTITUTION: This equipment is provided with a phase difference calculating circuit 15 which calculates a phase difference of an internal phase angle of a generator 1 from a phase of the voltage of a secondary-side bus bar of a main transformer 3 which is connected to the generator 1, a system stabilizing equipment 19 which generates an auxiliary signal based on the output of the phase difference calculating circuit 15, and a first non-linear compensating circuit 17 and a second non-linear compensating circuit 18, which output compensating signals to compensate for a non-linearlity of a power system. |
