PURPOSE: To perform a spot display where depth information is reflected at a low cost without disturbing a high speed image composing processing. CONSTITUTION: A character screen information generation part 34 has a function of a spot information generation part and outputs depth spot information to a depth transformation part 32. The depth transformation part 32 transforms depth information based on the depth spot information. A shading arithmetic part 24 finds color information to be displayed on respective pixels of a display based on illuminance information and color information on a display body. A depth queuing arithmetic part 26 performs depth queuing operation for the found color information based on the depth information transformed by the depth transformation part 32. Thus, the spot display taking the depth information into consideration can be performed.
