The invention relates to an arrangement for discharging a material such as timber chips, bark and grain, for example, trickling down from a heap onto an auxiliary conveyor 3 below the storage site, the arrangement having a body 1, to which conveying means 2 have been connected for conveying the material that is to be discharged to the conveyor 3, and rake element 4 in order to facilitate transfer of the discharge material to the conveying means 2. The elongate body 1 is rotatably supported at one end in a support 5 forming a centre of rotation and at its opposite end it is supported by a wheel element 6. The conveying means 2 comprise a multipart screw conveyor 7a- 7e, which shifts the material that is to be discharged from the outer end towards the centre of rotation, from whence the material that is to be discharged is transferred to the conveyor 3. <IMAGE>
