PURPOSE: To perform a starting operation even when no power is supplied from an external power supply equipment, and stably control the operation. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a storage battery 16, a DC-AC converting device 17 for converting the DC output, and a battery charger 15 for charging the storage battery 16. A switch 11 and a switch 13 are laid in the opened state, a switch 14 is laid in the closed state to supply the AC output of the DC-AC converting device 17 to a control equipment system 10 such as a control equipment 5, motor-operated valves 6, and pumps 7, and the DC output of the storage battery 16 is further supplied to a part of the control equipment 5 to start a fuel cell body 1. The switch 11 and the switch 13 are switched to the closed state according to the starting end, the switch 14 is switched to the opened state, and the output of a DC-AC converting device 2 is partially supplied to the control equipment system 10 to control the operation. The output is also partially supplied to the battery charger 15, and the storage battery 16 is charged to fill up the consumed power. |
