PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner capable of allowing cold air or warm air to be diffused in a whole room when low wind cooling or heating operation is carried out. CONSTITUTION: In an air conditioner having a heat exchanger 3, a blowing fan 4 and the like provided in an air passage by which an air inlet 2 and an air outlet 5 formed in a main body 1 are allowed to communicate with each other, wherein air is subjected to heat exchange in the heat exchanger 3 by using the blowing fan 4 before being blown to the air outlet 5, a supplementary air inlet is provided in a top portion of the main body 1 located at a rear side of the heat exchanger 3, the supplementary air inlet is provided with an open/close door 7 having both a driving device 9 and a pivotal shaft 8, and when the open/close door 7 is left opened, air taken in through the supplementary air inlet is allowed to join air which has passed through the heat exchanger 3. |
