PURPOSE: To provide a hermetic sealing vessel which facilitates unsealing, avoids the breakage or contamination of contents at the time of unsealing and maintains high hermeticity even to gas, such as He, which is liable to permeate the vessel. CONSTITUTION: This hermetic vessel is composed of a base 1 and a cover 2 and is internally enclosed with the gaseous He. The outer periphery in the joint part of the base 1 and the cover 2 is covered with a metallic ribbon 4 for sealing. This ribbon 4 for sealing is welded by seam welding to the base 1 and the cover 2 along its longitudinal direction. Weld beads 5 are formed on the ribbon 4 for sealing. If the vessel is constituted in such a manner, the central part of the ribbon 4 for sealing is merely necessitated to be cut at the time of unsealing and, therefore, the breakage or contamination of the contents of the sealing vessel does not arise; in addition, the high hermeticity even to the gas, such as He, which is liable to permeate the vessel is maintained. |
