A liquid detergent composition comprising anionic surfactants selected from the group of alkyl alkoxy sulfates and alkyl sulfates, characterized in that said detergent composition further comprises an amine selected from i) primary amines having the formula: R1R2R3N, wherein R1 and R2 are both H; and wherein R3 is C4-C18, or R4X(CH2)n, whereby X is -O-, -C(O)NH- or -NH-, R4 is a C6-C18, n is between 1 to 5; ii) tertiary amines having the formula R1R2R3N, wherein neither R1 nor R2 is H, R<1> and R<2> are C1-C8 alkylchains or (II), whereby n is between 1 to 5 and x is between 1 to 5, R3 is either C4-C18 or R4X(CH2)n, whereby X is -O-, -C(O)NH- or -NH-, R4 is a C6-C18, n is between 1 to 5 and R5 is H or C1-C2 alkyl; and iii) mixtures of said primary and tertiary amines. |
