<p>PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic toner improving the low- temperature fixing property without causing blocking or offset and an electrophotographic toner excellent in the dispersibility of a colorant such as carbon black. CONSTITUTION: A graft polymer constituted of the principal chain of a styrene polymer and the graft chain expressed by the formula is combined as fixing aids to obtain the former toner. The fixing aids are dispersed as fine grains in a fixing resin to obtain the latter toner, and a colorant is dispersed in the fine grains of the fixing aids. In the formula, R<1> indicates hydrogen atom, the alkyl group having the carbon number of 11-17, or aryl group, R<2> and R<3> indicate hydrogen atom or the alkyl group having the carbon number of 1-17, R<4> indicates the alkyl group having the carbon number of 1-12, R<5> indicates hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, or methyl group, X<-> indicates anion, and (n) indicates an integer of 2 or above.</p> |
