The tablet is composed of 7.5-10 wt% captopril, 6-10 wt% hydroxyethyl cellulose, 28-48 wt% ascorbic acid as an oxidation resistant, 0.5-1 wt% magnesium stearate, 4-7 wt% stearic acid, 20-35 wt% stearil alcohol and 12-15 wt% hydrogenated castor oil. The tablet is coated with moisture-proofing film, made by dissolving hydroxyprophyl methyl cellulose, titanium oxide, ethylcellulose and diethyl phthalate into ethanol and methylene chloride.
