PURPOSE: To preventively alleviate the fatigue due to effort of driver for safe driving by selecting and proposing a route in which a solar light does not dazzle from among routes to a destination, and making the driver select the route. CONSTITUTION: Map data of a road where a vehicle can travel is stored in a memory 7, and the data is divided at every bending point, and attribute data of a traveling distance, traveling required time, a signal position, the direction of the road, etc., are stored for every division. When a starting point, an ending point and a departure time are designated by a setter 6, a CPU 9 calculates the shortest distance route to the ending point, the shortest time route from the attribute data in the memory 7. The road where there is an obstacle for driving due to dazzling from the position and the direction of the vehicle, signals and the position of the sun, etc., is retrieved. Then, the CPU 9 alters the road where the sun guves dazzling, to other road, or shifts the time, and calculates the shortest distance route, the time route, etc., to pass. This is displayed with image and voice on a display device 10 and made to be selected by a driver. |
