PURPOSE: To easily decide the condition of each part for attaining the required impact resistance. CONSTITUTION: The pressurizing force (F) and the mass (m) of an HSA 11 are decided so as to satisfy the formula, F>m.λ.G*+ΔF. According to this formula, the mass (m) or pressurizing force (F) are obtained so that the pressurizing force (F-ΔF) becomes larger than the inertial force (m.G*), thereby a magnetic head 1 is prevented from springing up. Since the required (F) or (m) is easily obtained by this formula, labor and time are saved as compared with the conventional practice, and yield of the product is improved. Also, the required impact resistance is satisfied.
