<p>PURPOSE: To provide a stop valve capable of improving a sealing function, ensuring a valve disc to be free from adhering to a valve port and preventing a fuel splash reaching a canister. CONSTITUTION: This stop valve has a vertically movable float 13 in a case 12, and a valve disc 14 of elastically deformable material laid on the upper surface of the float 13. Also, the valve has a valve port 18 formed on the top of the case 12, and a breathing passage 15 provided downstream of the port 18. Furthermore, the valve disc 14 closes the port 18, due to the floating of the float 13. Regarding the stop valve so structured, a contact member 19 coming in contact with the valve disc 14 upon the floating of the float 13 is laid inside the port 18, and a communication port 14a is formed on the valve disc 14 at a position in contact with the member 19.</p> |
