SHOPPING PICKUP SYSTEM AND LOCKER

PURPOSE: To provide a shopping pickup system by carrying articles designated by customers to a prescribed location and containing them therein and allowing each customer to receive each designated article at this location so as to avoid movement of each customer with purchased articles in a shop thereby improving the customer service and eliminating the need for display of articles in article display shelves. CONSTITUTION: A customer uses an article selector 2 to select an article to be purchased. In this case, a carrying location of the article is simultaneously designated. A host device 1 uses a self-running cart 4 or a conveyor to carry the designated article to a designated delivery location. When a customer ID is entered, extraction of the article is allowed from the self-running cart 4 or an article reception shelf 5.
