PURPOSE: To provide the horizontal pincushion distortion correction circuit which satisfactorily corrects the raster distortion, which has a low distortion rate in both ends of the x-axis and has higher distortion rate in the middle part throughout the screen. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal output circuit is provided with the horizontal pincushion distortion correction circuit in the saturable reactor system which is provided with two saturable reactor transformers 10 and 11 different in characteristics. The horizontal pincushion distortion correction circuit in the saturable reactor system is inserted to the part where the horizontal deflection current of the horizontal output circuit flows. At this time, two saturable reactor transformers 10 and 11 different in characteristics have the same DC superposition characteristics as a linearity coil. |
