ANTIHYPERLIPEMIA AGENTS CONTAINING PANAXIDOL

The panaxidol, a polyacethylene compound with two or more triple bond, is separated from ginseng and shows repression effect on total cholesterol, triglyceride and LDL-cholesterol, which relate to hyperlipemia induction and progression. The used excipient is magnesium stearate and carboxymethyl cellulose etc., the capsule is polysolvate and polyethylene glycol etc. The panaxidol is prepared for drug such as tablet or capsule form, where the adminstration quantity is 20 Pmole/kg B.W.
