<p>PURPOSE: To avoid the misattachment of an expulsion fuse in place of a current- limiting fuse by a method wherein an insertion blocking part which blocks the insertion of the expulsion fuse cylinder which has an outside shape different from the outside shape of the current-limiting fuse cylinder is provided near the take-out opening of the housing main part of a fuse cylinder which limits a current flowing through a bypass route. CONSTITUTION: A current-limiting fuse cylinder 14 is housed in the cylindrical fuse housing main part 12 of a cut-out device 10 for bypass construction. In this state, in order to protect a transformer in a bypass route, one lead wire 36 is connected to a high voltage side and the other lead wire 52 is connected to the primary side of the transformer. The fuse main part 28 of the current- limiting fuse cylinder 14 has a current suppressing function and is fused by an overcurrent to protect the transformer. If an expulsion fuse cylinder which has an outside shape different from the outside shape of the current-limiting fuse cylinder 14 is inserted through the take-out opening 56 of the housing main part 12, the insertion is blocked by the step part 62 of a protection cylinder 58. With this constitution, the misattachment of the expulsion fuse cylinder can be avoided.</p> |
