PURPOSE: To provide a ZnO varistor capable of decreasing the dispersion in the characteristic and the leakage current of a sintered element. CONSTITUTION: Two green sheets 1 are formed of ZnO and a high-melting point additive. Paste of a low melting point additive 2 is applied on one green sheet 1, on which the remaining green sheet 1 is press-fit, and the two green sheets 1 are made into one green sheet. After that, it is punched into a circular substance to obtain a molding 3. The molding 3 is baked, and an electrode is formed. |
