<p>PURPOSE: To execute recognition with high precision by deciding which one of reference feature sets most intimately correspond to a phase space feature and a vector feature, etc. CONSTITUTION: A system includes a microcomputer 12 providing a monitor 14. This microcomputer 12 is connected to a liquid crystal graphic digitizer 16. A character is inputted and digitized and the digitized character is stored. Then, the phase space feature and the vector feature of the character, a micro- character and the size of the character are compared with the reference feature sets which are stored in a memory, respectively respond to the specified feature and are respectively equivalent. It is decided which one of the reference feature sets most intimately corresponds to the phase space feature, the vector feature, the micro-feature and the size of the digitized character so that logical process is executed so as to recognize a handwritten character.</p> |
