PURPOSE: To provide a guiding apparatus for vehicle which can automatically search a route so that a driver does not forcibly perform U-turn at the time of starting the route guiding. CONSTITUTION: The guiding apparatus for vehicle comprises an SRAM 7 for storing data as the reference of the advancing direction of vehicle, and an ECU 1 for obtaining the advancing direction of the vehicle from data stored in the SRAM 7, limiting to select a link which is reverse to the advancing direction of the vehicle as the route based on information obtained from a CD-ROM drive 10 for storing road map data having node information and link information and the processing to search the route from the departure place to a destination. As a result, the route guiding which is gentle for a driver can be conducted. |
