<p>PURPOSE: To control characteristic impedance by controlling the dimension of the parallel setting direction to another contact in a pressure insertion part to an insulator of a contact or a facing area to an adjacent contact in a contact. CONSTITUTION: A plug side connector 1 comprises an insulator 2 made of resin and a plurality of conductive contacts 3 arranged in parallel at suitable spaces. The contact 3 is constituted with a pressure insertion part 4 widely formed in the adjacent contact direction, a contact 7 with a mating contact, a spring 5, a soldering terminal part 8 and an extending part 6 with large facing area to an adjacent contact. Characteristic impedance of the spring 5 is higher than 50Ωwhich is general in a high frequency transmission path, and problem of generating a reflected wave occurs. Since spaces to the adjacent contact are made narrow by the wide pressure insertion part 4 and the facing area to the adjacent contact is made wide in the extending part 6, capacitance is increased and characteristic impedance is decreased.</p> |
