PURPOSE: To improve a utilization factor of Li material to eliminate scrap of the Li material so as to reduce costs of products in a manufacturing method of a coin type lithium cell using Li for a negative electrode by adopting a specific method. CONSTITUTION: In a manufacturing method of a coin type lithium cell using Li for a negative electrode, an Li ball 4 of fixed quantity is fed into a cap 1 to become a negative electrode side by forming a guide cylinder 2, for example, if required, and the Li ball 4 is pressed by a press means 3 in the cap 1 to be dried and solidified. The Li ball used as a material is formed by injecting a lump Li at 50 deg.C or lower, cut into a fixed quantity and then formed into a spherical shape by means of a rolling method. |
