PURPOSE: To reduce a temperature coefficient of a limit level by outputting a limit signal from an output circuit when a voltage received by an input terminal exceeds a prescribed voltage. CONSTITUTION: The circuit is provided with a current mirror circuit group receiving a current from a reference voltage source subject to temperature compensation and providing an output of 1st and 2nd reference currents, a Gm amplifier 9 converting a voltage signal applied to an input terminal 2 into a current signal while using a 1st reference current as an operating current and providing an output of the converted signal, a comparison detection circuit 11 comparing an output current of the Gm amplifier 9 with a 2nd reference current and providing an output when the one exceeds the other, and an output circuit 12 providing an output of the detection result of the comparison detection circuit 11. when a voltage given to the input terminal 2 exceeds a prescribed value, the output circuit 12 outputs a limit signal. Since an output current of the Gm amplifier 9 and the 2nd reference current used to compare the output current depend on the temperature coefficient of a same internal resistance, the reference point to generate the limit signal is subject to temperature compensation. |
