The panel, esp. for applying to a fixed or moving backing, e.g. of rubber or plastic, is made from vinyl printed on one side and fixed with the aid of an alcohol or 3-5 % glyceride solution applied to the backing or an adhesive coating on the vinyl. The vinyl panel can have a surface coating of a silicone solution, applied by vaporisation, and the panel and backing assembly can be heated using an air current at 40 deg C.
