PURPOSE: To execute the depress processing of a lead frame at a high speed with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A pressing force of a ram 11 is inputted to a sequencer 21 of a load cell amplifier 25 from a force sensor 13. In the sequencer 21, the point to which the ram 11 drops in the predetermined downset processing amount from the point for starting detection of a pressing force of the ram 11 is obtained as the lower dead point. In the sequencer 21, a servo-motor 16 is controlled to drive via a servo-motor driver 24 on the basis of the lower dead point information to sequentially execute, for the lead frame 1, the depress processing between the upper metal die 3a and lower metal die 2b.
