PURPOSE: To provide a video display device by which high-image quality stereoscopic picture and stereo voice can be obtained and mount feeling can be improved without hindering the movement of an observer. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a control box 1 having a signal multiplexing circuit 5 multiplexing plural video signals and voice signals and a first photoelectric conversion circuit 6 performing a photoelectric conversion for the multiplexed signal and a main body 8 having a second photoelectric conversion circuit 9 performing the photoelectric conversion for the signal from the control box 1, a signal separation circuit 10 separating a signal, video display element 13 and 14 and speakers 11 and 12. The control box 1 and the main body 8 are connected by an optical fiber cable 15a so as to transmit a signal, and the diameter of the cable hanging from the main body is made thinner and the cable is made lighter in weight. |
